I meant to say that there are no statues of Marishiten

It's quite a small temple, set above a shopping street and although it's dedicated to Marishiten, the main statuary there depict Jizo san and Nichiren.

I've been there a few times and from what I remember, there are statues, etc, of Marishiten on display. I seem to remember her being depicted on ema and they didn't strike me as being a male figure.

There's also a temple dedicated to Marishiten in Ueno, Tokyo in the Ameyokocho area which is popular with tourists. It's called Tokudaiji and is located right by a couple of sweet shops.
