I see now that many are channeling their hatred for Elon and his racism, which I share, towards me. It was a mistake to appear to align myself with him. End

We have no idea whether Homer was blind or not. I don't believe it would be possible for a blind man to describe the vivid detail we see in Homer but that question is open to dispute. It's not asking too much that characters in a film about an important work appear as the author described them.
