Republican politicians want to cut Medicaid, Medicare, and roll back access to Healthcare for hard-working American families. Medical debt and the cost of medications continue to be a challenge for many in our nation, and we need Congress to work for US instead of billionaires.

In 1865, slaves in the South were finally freed as a result of the Emancipation Proclamation being enforced by the Union Army. Former slaves in Texas began celebrating this event on June 19, 1866, and afterward, it spread nationwide to then recently become a national holiday in 2021. #Juneteenth
