A Jets win begs the eternal question: do I throw on Where to Land or Killer Condom. Or go a third direction and revisit Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within.

PETER HUJAR’S DAY (‘25): A pleasant breeze of a photographer’s shitty eating habits and calling 10th between C and D the “lower east side.” Appreciate the depiction of the tape changes and Whishaw finally aging up with each dart.

THE SHROUDS ('24): I'm just saying...not a completely unfamiliar scenario to me. And it's very good.

musical film part 2 ('25): So, they really just said fuck off to that talking lion and boq, huh? No need to ever tell me if it differs in the book. I had a more enjoyable experience assuming this is why Hidetaka Miyazaki and George R.R. Martin have a character named that in Elden Ring.

(MUZZLE) CITY OF WOLVES (‘25): it’s got multiple dogs dying in an explosion, a super cartel with ties to a global conspiracy (but obsessed with Aaron Eckhart’s Jake Muzzle), LA Skid Row close ups and a production card-less opening followed by credits over a final scene. It’s a true gem of schlock.

Me: may as well put this film on. I like the director but why has it sat on this streaming service and I don’t remember anyone talking about it.

At times I wish I was cursed with beauty rather than the knowledge of the old NYFA Brett Ratner ads that ran endlessly on TV and now are lost on the internet.

The weird and wonderful world of the dearly departed Udo Kier
There was no career like his — it’s literally dizzying to contemplate.

BLOOD FOR DRACULA ('74): Obvious reason why to throw this on (now on TUBI in a particularly insane upload with over-saturation). Forever a keeper for Kier in his reactions to non-virgin blood and then the finale as he loses limb after limb.
