Maybe naive: it doesn’t take a trillion dollars for some experienced pols to engage in really outrageous acts and scream very very loudly in ways that will get the media’s attention. Yes, we’ve heard little mouse squeaks here and there, but otherwise the silence is deafening. (No offense to rodents)
