Yeah but if people think he winning I fear it will weaken our position. Someone I know who is a little less ideological but has been anti-trump today told me he thinks that maybe he was wrong after this. That what Trump is doing is working.

It seems to me though that people think this is Trump win here because it looks like he made them do stuff. I’m not going to lie, I’m pretty despondent to all of this. Probably the most depressed I’ve ever been honestly.

Trump isn’t doing any of this in Congress though. I’m not just trying to stand up for AOC here but he’s doing all of this through EC. We can sue, which we are trying but that is it. There is nothing we can obstruct.

Trump not only did not moderate after losing in 2020 but came back with a more extreme vision and won. Harris ran a very conservative campaign, embracing Cheney and lost. The message is clear, Americans want bold reform and their conditions to change. Not the moderate status quo.
