Any big accidents around? Coast Guard copter just flew into Tufts, then flew into MGH. Seems unusual

No

Had to get it off my chest. but really, it's still 30-50 mil of taxpayer money because Keolis won't do its job.

5) NEVER MIND we were promised a new commuter fare system a year ago now? Still nothing. (Never mind the 'new' subway fare system isn't even fully rolled out, but that's another rant. :)

4) Plus, in general, it means you can no longer run and just make your train. These gates take time to read and then open, so there are often long lines to get in and out, furthering delays, so no more last-minute train catching.

3) But that means I can't help Mom onto Amtrak trains any more. And when the red line breaks and "you can take commuter rail" means the fare gates have to be taken offline or you trap everyone inside

2) the ones at N Station stink, becasue the food vendors AND RESTROOMS are outside the fare area, so you can't even take a pee. And if they end up canceling the train, you get NO refund. At least the S Station ones are 'closer' to the platforms

1) Where to start (now that I'm at a keyboard). First, conductors check tickets. Trains are understaffed so Keolis can make a larger profit, and forced you to spend millions of your tax dollars on these fare gates.

Frack. This is the last thing we needed - an excuse for cheeto to go ballistic.

It’s not about zoning. It’s about control.
