What would really change this county's politics forever would be a proportional electoral system. Otherwise the Greens may win this seat but at the GE they will be mashed by whichever party is the current crusher.

I'm never sure why for Farage and co Hampstead and Islington are the only people who care about such things, I live in rural Suffolk and I care immensely about International Law. I'm also "Woke" so where that fits with his tiresome cliched narrative I don't quite know!

This is where the idea of the Tory Party as the "natural party of government" comes from. They are not and never were. Most people have never voted for them. They exist in an electoral system which they created and which favours them massively. Labour has been to stupid to change that.

At what point is "fluent". I speak Spanish. I speak it well and I understand it well. I can communicate well. But am I fluent? Who is the judge? Where is the line? Its ridiculous. I also guarantee that the greatest judges of "fluency" don't speak a second language themselves.
