Not very chatty, mostly here to read.
You needed the *dumsting*. Maybe a mention about tipping the waitstaff and trying the veal.

To be fair, they’re not wrong. The system doesn’t work under modern technology and population dynamics. Proportional representation parliamentary systems work better. But, to your point, we have the system we have.

Coolio recanted his objection, now says that a lot of his younger fans got there from following the "Amish Paradise" trail.

Needs to up his side legal consulting business?

So...no links then?
January 26, 2026 at 7:06 PM
So, I missed all of the campus tent cities for Gaza, and brave Code Pinkies storming Capitol Hill and Trump rallies after her got elected? Links?
January 26, 2026 at 7:02 PM
Wake me up when the code pinkies start hassling congress and Trump, and the campus tent cities reopen.
January 26, 2026 at 5:04 AM
I’d also note that the minute Trump got in, the code pinkies and their like suddenly dropped Gaza like a hot potato. Almost like they care more about screwing over liberals than their supposed issue.

Anyone interested should dig into the massive overlapping subsidy level on large scale shipping.
January 24, 2026 at 5:57 AM
You can remove the specifics. Eliminate the explicit and implicit subsidies and we’d be off oil, half of global “cheap crap” trade would vanish, AI would be gone, etc… we’ve skewed so many markets with subsidies to negative results.

Also means they will have less to retire on.

It was a tree limb that fell and broke a window. But damn that was freaky.

My favorite. Folks away, I’m watching a horror flick on cable. Crash. Glass breaking in the basement. I’m alone. Grab butcher knife, go down stairs. Halfway to realize I’m acting like the character I laugh at for being stupid in a way no real world person would be. /1

The second mayor for life is leaving?!
November 25, 2025 at 8:52 PM
Lets hope. I expect the usual from the Seattle left, easily evadable taxes on the "rich" (actually businesses, not the rich), lower standard of living for the middle as the encampments metastasize again with only guilt hectoring of the middle for complaining as a response. No actual solutions.
November 25, 2025 at 6:53 PM
True, Trump is a real overstuffed turkey, for sure.
November 25, 2025 at 6:08 PM
Unfortunately, that would involve things that would cause the Seattle left to go rabid as well. Such as limits on Union control to things, less protections on community impacts to construction, etc... Same way we forget here that social housing in Europe has strong "boot out problems" rules.
November 25, 2025 at 5:21 AM
Astounding this is even an argument. There is a place and time for everything...being overdressed can be utterly stupid at times. Check out Smith Point in Georgetown for that bit of tacky on a Saturday. Ugh. Just dress to the situation, that simple.

Uh, excuse my vapid press heather, but they are actually two Govt officials who were doing their jobs as designed and intended. "Political foes" is a loaded, normative term that has no business in "objective journalism" here.
November 24, 2025 at 6:54 PM
He's not a "Trump Foe" you useless, vapid press heathers. He's a former Govt official who ran a legitimate investigation that made Trump mad.

Try reporting facts, Heather.

However, they were more open and honest in their imperialism and use of the military. After Vietnam everyone got sneaky and used more unconventional methods, unless it was a one sided run like Bush hitting Iraq. Less internal political blowback, and having no draft helped on that.
