You know those games where you have to pick your race and class before you've had a chance to experiment with them?

That's what picking X programming language for Y career is like. It's a great way to get pigeonholed into a job you don't actually enjoy.

#Protonmail by @proton.me has been down for a couple hours now. The Android and iOS apps only cache a few emails on the device. Proton users can't access their emails and calendar events because this is designed as an online-first application.

Maybe offline-first development isn't such a bad idea.

Oh boy, there are a lot of acronyms to learn when picking up #Infosec stuff. Seems like a basic tenant of #TechnicalWriting hasn't quite reached the #Cybersecurity world yet: use complete phrase first, followed immediately by the acronym in brackets, then the acronym from then on.
