My favorite boring fake trade is WAS sends Johnny Davis to LAC for PJ Tucker (with the intention of a buyout) and LA’s 2030 2nd Rounder. WAS has a TPE that makes this work, and the difference in salary is exactly enough to get the Clippers below the tax.

My favorite boring fake trade is WAS sends Johnny Davis to LAC for PJ Tucker (with the intention of a buyout) and LA’s 2030 2nd Rounder. WAS has a TPE that makes this work, and the difference in salary is exactly enough to get the Clippers below the tax.
