Part of me wants to catch up and get started on my fantasy pick — “Son of a Witch” — but I think I should re-read “1984” (and “Animal Farm”) while “Julia” is still fresh. If nothing else, April (poetry) should help me get back on track.

Look: we didn’t need Elon Musk to SH to know that he’s a white supremacist and antisemite. He has done PLENTY to tell us this. Whether or not he specifically adheres to explicit Naziism is immaterial. He’s the same person he was on Sunday.

Books can be propaganda, too. Reading is NOT inherently anti-authoritarian. You’ve actually gotta think about what you’re reading and be selective about what you pick up to begin with.
