I’m pretty sure Trump also originally thought “asylum seekers” were “people released from mental institutions”. Unclear whether he still believes it, but you’d think those institutions would have been emptied long ago. 🤷🏻♂️

IKR? But then, these same centrists are perfectly comfortable blaming and shaming Palestinian-Americans for rejecting a centrist candidate who ignored their pleas to take a stand against the U.S.-backed genocide of their own relatives…DESPITE ALL THE POLLING CONFIRMING THAT YUP! DEMS HATE GENOCIDE!

IIRC, when it came to a floor vote, there was nearly ZERO appetite among the assembled delegates to redo the first mayoral vote by paper ballot.
After Fateh led by 12 points on the first ballot, Frey CHOSE to exit with his delegates, rather than continue to fight.
IMO, this was Frey’s play.
