Kurt, forgive my frankness, but the 70's, 80's in Paris were a period of cultural enlightment. The show at the Crazy Horse was elegant and subtle, far from the hamburger mentality you would find in Los Angeles.

This is far from my area of expertise and I know next to nothing about these matters, other than what I read in the press. What I have understood is that even experts in maritime law are presently discussing the topic and having difficulty in reaching a consensus.

Again, unfortunately, the internatiinal community (I.C.J) cannot change their statutes to become applicable retroactively to non signatory members. I would love to see them strung up by their toes but let's remain factual and realistic .. :-)

No, unfortunately, the country of origin of the persons to be prosecuted must first agree. If a future USA government agrees (most unlikely), then yes, the persons can be judged, but this would create a precedent that no one would be likely to create.
