Lower fuel standards = more gasoline used, which
-- further enslaves drivers to the fossil fuel industry
-- makes commodities (transported by gas-dependent trucks) more sensitive to gas-price fluxes--since transport costs are passed on

Treat your loved one to a class in your area (or a tour or some other good experience).
If you must buy something---shop at local SMALL businesses exclusively, and pay with cash only.
