I try and avoid news, but after rocking my granddaughter to sleep this morning I put on sky news purely to see what time it was. A headline along the lines of Starmer tells protesting students it is 'anti-British' to protest stunned me to the core. Just staggering !

I'm now in my 60s. I distinctly remember as a lad that nurses at my home hospital being from the Caribbean and Doctors from India. This country was significantly made from immigration and from the Commonwealth countries.
