Kerry GAA 🟩🟨

A move in the right direction but 10% isn’t enough. Should be a lot higher if there serious about fixing imbalances in the Irish system. Which I suspect they aren’t going by past behaviour of the last decade. A serious change in culture is needed. Suppose don’t let perfect be the enemy of the good.

Having listened to the interview in full. The block on front rows by the sounds of it is very much in place. A continuation of Nucifora policies. And sounded that we should be grateful of the flexiblity shown for the medical joker. The slow death of the provincial game by disillusionment

To be honest I’m highly skeptical maybe bordering on cynical at this stage. Sounds like empty words. Case by case basis is nothing new. Until we are actually given the autonomy to go and sign who we need nothing will change.

Bleuler was a medical joker. Unless I’m mistaken the policy of no NIQ props is still in place. Therefore Humphrey’s is doing the same as Nucifora. Unless I’m missing something.

Coming through*

To be specific NIQ front rows particularly props. Munster didn’t need a winger this year. Abrahams is a good player. But everyone knows it’s not what we needed. Instead we have two props and fair play to the Ryan and Archer both 35. No one’s being blocked from coming, both aren’t in Irish contention

Front rows.

Looks to me to be an empty sound bite, like the up to 30% CC rule. Just empty gestures they know won’t work. The current policies are of design to make team Ireland. They are the issue. Until they address this which in turn will hurt Leinster, things will get worse. And there’s no intention of that.

Seemed to me, he acknowledged there was a problem, but then continues with the policies that led us to the state the provincial game is in. Stopping the other provinces from signing players in the positions they need and moving on players on the out of Leinster to other provinces isn’t actual change

A lot lot more then four times…

Glad to see Henderson resigned. But Ulster losing a CC just creates further imbalance in the Irish system. CC’s need to be scraped altogether. There really damaging the competitiveness of the provincial game. It’s just creating a further gap between Leinster and the rest of the provinces.
