I’ve also wondered how many “new” plastic bags people are purchasing as a result of this law. In the past they would have just reused their plastic grocery bags. Yes people still reuse grocery bags but I don’t think it’s as common as it was 7-8 years ago.

It was thanks to working on FW Link that I even learned Federal Way had a “downtown” and I use that term very loosely.

You also have the occasional waste collector on a power trip. Our recycle guy refused to take the recycle if he had to move other cans to get to it. He’d claim the cans were “blocked” so he couldn’t empty them. Well when you have 9 townhomes it’s impossible for cans not to be “blocked”

Along with the ones who disregard the c curb median at MLK and Graham.

This is also an issue with electrifying transit (buses, ferries, etc).

Part of this is that public agencies don’t do a good job of training their employees to manage consultants. It’s similar yet slightly different than managing people and IMO we do a poorly job of teaching people those skills.

It depends on the state. Some have their supreme courts in the same building. In both instances important things are happening but it’s also a place people want to see/a tourist attraction.

It’s actually common in many state capitols. There is one in Olympia.

And the fact that Springer was the one to hit the HR makes it hurt even more.
