We do have a few joint events we're going to stick with in the Holidays, but then we'll begin only talking when necessary for our daughter or divorce logistics. The hope is that at the end of this, we'll be able to have a friendship at least similar to what we had before we started dating. 4/4

As we move forward into the rest of our lives, we'll still be family, because that never changes, but we're going to give each other some space as much as we can over the next year or so to give each other the room to define our new lives. 3/4

It just wasn't good for us. We have a wonderful 18 year old daughter who is becoming a fantastic human, we have 22 years of injokes and friendship, because even when we fell out of love we enjoyed hanging together, and we have good memories of our time together. 2/4

At that age my daughter would run through the house after her bath, shrieking “Naked girl for the rescue!”

Fellow abnormal here; I love doing any writing-related business stuff. Contracts, etc. are fun. I was thinking this would eventually wear off—you give me hope it’ll continue to be fun years from now.

And? That doesn’t excuse anything he’s doing.

Goddamn. I’m a US citizen who published worldwide with a UK Publisher. My contracts said the publisher was to register my works “in accordance with international law.” It does not seem they did this, in the US, anyway.

Oh, I have been. Not much in the way of stories though. Opens next week. I’m sure I’ll have some after that.

I haven’t been able to watch any of S3 yet! Spouse is playing Norma Desmond in a local production and has been in rehearsals every night for weeks. I’m behind on everything.

I’ve never bought a car new and, as much as I’d like to, I probably never will. It’s just not economically feasible.

Right? I’m suddenly not so upset at not being able to finish the piece I was working on aimed for them.

Guaranteed you're not the only person thinking that. But no, nobody "let" you in. You got in by talent. Believe it. (I'm just alum, I have no special knowledge, but experience).

In 2013 I didn't get my acceptance email, but I did get the followup email asking us not to say anything until 7/1. I wrote in asking "Did I get this by mistake?" and found my email address had been entered incorrectly and I'd been accepted after all. Crazy day for me!

You're in for such a treat. It's been 12 years since I went, and it stands as one of the best times in my life.
