I played Red Dead Redemption 2 on PS4 at launch, for around 20 hours. It wasn’t until 2023 that I finally played through the main story. Now, I’m replaying it on PS5 for the Platinum.

I’ve grown tired of everything I’m seeing in my Discover feed that has nothing to do with video games.

Platinum Trophy 30: Hyper Light Drifter

The one trophy I cheated was “One Shot,” which required beating the game without dying. I died around 10 times, but I kept a save backed to the cloud, so it merely came down to beating the game.

Revisiting Red Dead Redemption in its 15th year.

During a miniboss fight in Hyper Light Drifter, we killed each other and I respawned with the loot having already dropped.

All that’s left is to beat the game without dying, then the Platinum is mine.

Geneva Conventions are necessary for the vernacular of splitscreen games. It is not the case that all local multiplayer can also be categorized as splitscreen. For instance, Mario Kart has a splitscreen mode while Smash Bros. does not. The meaning of any portmanteau should be clear to everyone.
