This also seem like it might prove significant later.
(I mean that in a plot sense, but now that I think of it, I wonder if maybe it's a stand-in for Disney buying so many other entertainment companies).

The Breaking Bad thing could tie into this as well. I mean he, yeah, just doesn't want to open up to the others for all the obvious reasons, but he could also be self-conscious about never having had a job like they have.
