Well, at this point, hopes are about as useless as thoughts and prayers, but it's all we have. It's possible that all the vitriol, prejudice, incompetence and corruption might make the whole administration collapse inwardly like a dead star. No metaphor intended.

When I was a high school freshman, (the wheel had already been invented), the final exam in my civics class included the test for U.S. citizenship. Could anyone in the incoming administration pass it? I know, that is a rhetorical question.
