I saw him live in Omaha just a couple of years before he died. I remember moving a friend the weekend after he passed, and the classic rock station was running tribute programming.

Here's a sad statistic: Stevie Ray Vaughan was on the planet for 13,092 days. As of today, it's been exactly 13,092 days since he died. Tomorrow, he will have been gone longer than he was here. Today would have been his 71st birthday. Did you ever see him live?

RIP Stevie Ray!

We can fund health care and keep the government running, or we can shut everything down to raise prices on people.

To me, that’s a pretty easy choice.

George was a great comedian, who had a lot of fantastic insights about people, society, and politics. He is missed, and I can't imagine how brutal he would be if he were still here.

The NFL always had a bad team that is suddenly good, which seems like the Colts this year.

... and a good team that is suddenly bad, is that the Ravens?

The Ravens' defense was bad when they had linebackers. That still doesn't explain Lamar choking in a big game again.

... also thanks to the Giants for beating the Chargers, who are now only 1 game ahead in the AFC West. Winning the division is the first goal.

KC whooped the Ravens.

Butker continues to be a concern.

The defense was amazing, and Cook played very well.

The offense was humming, and the RBs contributed.

The Ravens looked iffy before Lamar's injury.

So didn't read the story, eh? She didn't want money, she wanted control of the recordings, which isn't a big ask, and seems fairly predictable give her history with recording labels.

At that pace there are a lot of very good games that I never play. I could draw a line at media released before 2025, and still have plenty of great games, books, music to cover the rest of my existence.

As we have democratized most creative outlets, making it harder to stand out. I love video games, but have been hovering around playing 60 titles per year for the last few years. With a job and a family, that is a lot of video gaming, and still only a bit more than one a week.

Trump called on the federal government to unseal all remaining classified files on aviator Amelia Earhart. If it’s that simple, then why not the Epstein files?

lol, that is nuts, and gives me a "what have I done with my life" problem

Agreed, the exposure would be great for most artists, but Taylor in a different strata. Historically she is bigger today than the Beatles or Elvis at their peak, which is sort of mind blowing.

Identifying companies that work with the Trump crime family, and doing targeted boycotts has the potential to be effective, but it always seems random.

Sure Disney caved on Kimmel, but Colbert still got canned, and CBS settled a lawsuit with DJT for $16 million that week. They aren't undoing that.
