Reform is promising to lift the moratorium on fracking.

We must protect our rural environment and have a complete ban on fracking.

The removal of the second morning train between Matlock and Derby will make it harder for residents to commute to Derby and nearby towns for work, leisure and education.

Today, in Parliament, I urged East Midlands Railway to ensure that the second morning train continues to run.

Today we are voting on the Railways Bill, which will create Great British Railways (GBR).

GBR will ensure that our trains are run in the interest of you, the passengers.

The headquarters of GBR will be based in Derby, bringing new jobs and investment to our region.

The Government is returning £2.3 billion to the BCSSS investment reserve.

As a result, 156 ex-mineworkers in Derbyshire Dales will see a weekly uplift of £100 to their pensions.

I called on the Government to deliver this and I'm proud to see this historic injustice ended.

It was fantastic to meet such enthusiastic pupils at Middleton Community Primary School during UK Parliament week.

The pupils asked lots of thoughtful and challenging questions - everything from how laws are made, to my favourite ice cream flavour! We may have some future MPs!

I am pleased to have been elected Vice-Chair of the All-Party Parliamentary Group for Net Zero.

I look forward to using my role to ensure that we support Net Zero industries across Derbyshire Dales, safeguard our environment, and create a better world for future generations.

(1/2) All of us should be able to access good end-of-life and palliative care.

The Conservatives left our hospices desperately underfunded and facing massive real-terms pay cuts.

I am proud that Labour has already announced £100 million in additional capital funding for hospices, but I know that

(1/1) It was fantastic to visit the @RSPCA_Official’s drop-in in aid of their campaign to encourage everyone in my constituency to #BeAKindSpark and Help Quieten the Noise by:

* attending organised firework events rather than having your own
* using low-noise fireworks

Thank you to everyone who took the time to come to my constituency surgery in Ashbourne. It’s a genuine privilege to meet constituents and help with matters that matter to them.

If you’d like to come along to this month’s surgery in Hilton, please get in touch.

(1/2) Rural crime continues to blight communities across Derbyshire Dales, with local farmers like Jane Basset having had her farm broken into and hundreds of pounds of specialised equipment stolen.

Today I asked the Solicitor General what steps the Government is taking to

I was grateful to meet with the Stone Federation to discuss the importance of British natural stone in creating sustainable housing.

Quarries and the stone sector play a vital role in our local economy, and I will continue to use my voice to ensure these industries are represented in Parliament.
