Throughout the long saga of my etrike write off and eventual replacement, Assetsure have been VERY helpful. I am glad I had my cycle insurance with them and recommend them wholeheartedly

Pleased to say I have now got my replacement etrike and after 2 and a half months, am riding again. But slowly 😀, nervous about falling. Baby steps for me

Went through the new crossing on queens drive today. So wonderful to have a chicane wide enough for me to manoeuvre my trike. Thank you @Transport_Nottm ! ❤️
And the path to the leenside bypasses the short sharp hill. *though it is rather overgrown, perhaps a trim is needed?

First time riding down maid Marian way since road resurfaced. Fantastic and smooth ride. So nice to be able to simply coast under the car park bridge instead of anxiously watching for large potholes. Thanks @transport_nottm ❤️

I believe that everyone who lives in “Nottingham” knows where it is - the area served by the historical routes of the “corporation bus”. Steve Calvert has written a longer article which gives wider perspective on why Nottingham should be Nottingham.

Very grateful to the bloke who came to my assistance on Wheeler Gate this afternoon and picked up my trike and put it on the pavement so I could lock it and go to The Bag Company. The kerb was a bit much for me. #thanks

Would be great if @nottspolice enforced the Yellow Box at junction Carrington Street, Arkwright, and Queens Road. Yesterday about 3pm had to wait to cross from Carrington to Arkwright due to cars queuing and blocking the road. @transport_nottm

Impressed by draft @rushcliffe planning design guide (150+ pages https://democracy.rushcliffe.gov.uk/documents/g1279/Public%20reports%20pack%2014th-Jan-2025%2019.00%20Cabinet.pdf/T=10) my skim they have sensible ideas for development, protecting cyclists, pedestrians and are sustainable. Well done!

As posted on twitter: I posted an objection to the plans 24/01987 because of the failure to fix the access from Holme Rd (prevents me from accessing the area as a disabled cyclist) @rushcliffe. I have the email but I don’t see my comment. Why?
