I think I might be in a club of one but I really didn't like this book. It had a malevolence that I don't see in most Christie's.

I think the Murder of Roger Aykroyd is genius. It's not in my top 5 of favourites but it is so cleverly clued and the concept is stunning.

They do know. Both things are just about stripping rights, freedom and any power from women. Cause a situation where women can either die or be prosecuted for something that is not their fault and then run a campaign saying women are not having enough children.

There have been people questioned over social media posts but very few actually prosecuted. Where they have it has been for inciting violence or racial hatred. They are prosecuted underthe Malicious Communications Act 1988, Public Order Act 1986, which were brought in by Margaret Thatcher

There is no self inflicted muslim take-over. They are 6% of the population. And like the Jews, Hindus, Sikhs, paganists, Baha'i' s and Buddists they have the freedom to practice their religion. I work with Muslims and consider them friends I can not see the problem.

David Hinton, the CEO of South East Water, has a base salary of £400,000 as of late 2025. Last year he got 115,000 bonus. Is that really the best he can do?

No. They don't. If you go on YouTube you will see lots of videos where people are asked if they want to go to the states and you will be surprised how many say no. My son has just returned to the UK from the States. And you really dont have the most freedoms either. Some research required.

I love this episode (Royal Ruby) There are some great moments with Poirot and the Prince, "This is a matter for the Commissioners in Lunacy!” and Poirot's face when he shouts "Daughter of a licentious camel". Also the mango peeling interlude.

I have no idea what the connection is because I don't do soaps. However, it did inspire me to listen to "Bertrams" again and it is full of gems! The loss of memory, the mother, daughter relationship, the bonnet story, I love it!
