@lincswildlife.bsky.social Spent an hour picking litter from a LWT roadside reserve. When I took the two sacks of rubbish, a broken traffic cone, and a huge piece of wood to the local recycling centre this gorgeous creature made an appearance! Transported back to safety in a bag for
life.

May? Hardly any mildew on the cornflowers and the peonies have not been beaten to the ground by rain. How splendid! 🌱🌧️

In the 1905 Wild Flowers Month by Month Step discussed the difficulties of photographing Wild Daffodils in the woods. So this morning I ventured out looking for Wild Daffodils in the woods near me. I found #WoodAnemone too for #WildflowerHour

@ianbeavis.bsky.social Hello, I see from your bio you have an interest in The Channel Islands. Do you have a copy of this? I’m desperately trying to clear my house of such acquisitions but hate throwing old books away. Given as a prize to my mother in law’s aunt 114 years ago!

Please let your wife’s niece know I’ve been making jam and marmalade for a long, long time and I still have two jars of this left from last year. My husband refuses to eat it which is good, because it tastes great!

During the winter I found these treasures on EBay, published in 1905. Volume 1 kicks off with March so I am going to try and dip in from time to time and see what’s in bloom at the same time 120 years later. Our little phone cameras would have blown Mr Step’s mind #WildflowerHour.
