My barber starts by putting a disposable stretchy thing around my neck, then a cape. I'm pretty much hermetically sealed from hair droppage.

I know the need to shower from previous hairdressers, but all should learn from Turkish barbers.

It has always been my take that you can only have heroes if folk are scared. If heroes face every peril, then they aren't heroes.
Some of the best LRP I've been involved with have come from most of the PC describing how scared they are of a thing. And then one big* damn hero managing to face it.
