Is your profile perhaps quite generic? I went from 0 interest to some interest after changing from talking about liking movies / nights out etc. to being more real… talking like myself and pointing out things that are unique / funny about me.

You could say I fell for the propaganda, and I probably did, but it felt true growing up in the Cold War… and that feeling persisted to an extent right up until 2016. It’s gone now.

Of course what news media will never do is suggest a link between what he’s done or intends to do politically and these school “japes”.
Many people are low information voters and really do need it pointed out that his policies have more to do with shrouded racism than national good.

~7 years ago I walked in the front door excited to tell my wife that I’d read childhood leukemia survival rates were >90%. Far lower when I was a kid.
~2.5 years ago my son was diagnosed with leukemia. I was very glad we were living in the 2020’s.
