It's the random, nonsensical application of rib cages to areas that anatomically speaking don't at all call for a rib cage that gets me.

like something the texas chainsaw killer would have made from the skin and hair of a small child. and then gifted to the mummified body of said child

upper left is deeply upsetting

the ossified tentacles and a rib cage for a cranium are pretty lame tho

Where you saw an octopus and were burdened with anger I saw a decapitated Cthulu and was buoyed by joy.

We are not the same

How do you gauge a turtle's joy vs ennui?

I suspect that a fair number of the more prolific and almost cartoonishly stereotypical "outraged woke progressive" accounts are infact professional russian propaganda trolls who are trying their hardest to polarize and incite anger between Americans.

Those are two of the most simultaneously beloved and bewildered dogs to have ever lived.

Her front foot nubbins are so pathetic and sweet. And I know it's nature being nature and the circle of life or whatever but raccoons really are sort of assholes aren't they?

If you rephrase the question you get the correct answer, which is that its only in the skin and compared to something like tomatoes or even watermelon it's insignificant

I'm friends of friends with college-level teachers like those referenced in the article. They're lazy, tech-illiterate cranks. Detecting ai-written essays isn't especially difficult if you care enough to.

It's a poll of young men and women. 50/50

Rockstar.. ?

Yes, and they were 400% more clear and concise than anything my boss would have come up with. It didn't provide any novel insights (which AI as it exists is completely incapable of) but at least I didn't have to do the mental gymnastics of trying to figure out what my boss was trying to articulate

Idk what that's supposed to mean is it a meme I'm not terminally online

For complex commercial / industrial real estate transactions, sure. But your bog standard 300k 1950s home? The fees title companies charge are outrageous. It's practically a mob racket
May 30, 2025 at 12:30 AM
Which on a $200k home works out to about $3000 - 4000. To verify and insure something that block chain could handle for pennies
May 30, 2025 at 12:25 AM
The laughably antiquated, rent-seeking, and corrupt world of real estate title companies. Whose sole job it is to make sure that the seller has legal possession of the title / deed. And sell insurance against the chance that they screwed up and someone sues the buyer for ownership

Disagreeing with Rogans views is one thing but he's the most popular Podcaster and has been for years. Pretending like he's no big deal is a mistake
May 29, 2025 at 10:46 PM
Same. Digging deeper it's a result from last years poll

A lot of this demographic worships the ground Peterson walks on. Or did, before he gave himself brain damage going through benzo withdrawl and turned into an old man yelling at clouds
May 29, 2025 at 10:28 PM
Rogan invited Harris onto his show. She declined. I don't know that it would have necessarily turned the election but in doing that she basically gave his entire audience a kayne shrug

He's not in a traditional sense. His views are all over the place. With that said he's become more conservative with age.
