People with your attitude live in sheltered world where they don’t understand the true reality of the world we live in today they think someone is going to come save them or they never have seen the other side of you have you would want self protection too

if it’s not your right to own a gun, your right to security whose right is it? Does not one have the right to protect oneself anymore without feeling guilt ridden? I am not even a gun person I don’t own one but it’s the principle.

If you can prove actual national security concerns yes that should be taken very seriously imo but the evidence must be very strong

Also X was found to immediately take down that content so they cannot be seen as liable note I am not trying to defend any one platform I am just against the banning of platforms because people don’t like the owner views imo if you don’t like something just don’t use it why ban it?

ok this literally something all social media platforms deal with, these systems are built by humans never going to be perfect, content moderation I can’t say I’m any kind of expert in but I imagine it’s an whack a mole type of problem better designed tech better the safeguards

The only time I would be ok with ban is if an platform promoted child porn or was operating criminally negligent otherwise use your intelligence to find ways to beat EM don’t interfere with free flow of information no matter how tainted let the people decide

Wasn’t that the entire reason Elon bought Twitter was to revamp it drain out the swamp? I heard Twitter before him was silencing far right views at the direction of dems, I am personally independent btw..I don’t like everything I see on X but a ban would not be very democratic.

Sorry I am not for allowing ideological differences to stifle free speech or free markets- it’s ok not to like Elon, but banning platforms is Fascism who is the gov to inform me which platforms I can or cannot use?
