Apparently, having a massive parliamentary majority means you're in a lot of trouble.

Labour's biggest problem is not Reform, it's the BBC politics team, as highlighted in this image.

Is there any chance of Labour shutting down Twitter/X?

It's a platform for misinformation, promoting hatred, and the owner is now inciting violence in the UK.

If you want butterflies, make space for the plants they like. There were ten cabbage whites on this verbena all at once. I was so amazed I forgot I had a camera until they started to fly away.

I found the bird of the day on the Merlin app. A Song Thrush, singing brilliantly at the top of the willow tree.

I had no binoculars, so I might be giving credit to a jackdaw.

Anyway, the song thrush was singing, possibly hidden, lower down, even if I photographed the wrong feathered friend.

Closer ties with countries that will stand up to Russia. Trump is a fan of Putin.

There's ice on the ground and melting snow; sleet is falling intermittently. But it's a sunny day in Devon, so obviously, some brave person was swimming in the river.

It wasn't me.
