I mean, it’s so obvious with the electricity surcharge - they all collectively flipped out over a simple surcharge, not even a complete ban. What would happen if Canada was serious about slowing all energy exports? Does that not prove our worth?

That doesn't mean Project 2025 isn't also heavily in the mix. It definitely is! But the assault is coming from different angles: Project 2025. The tech broligarchs. The America First nativists. And it's genuinely unclear how much coordination there is between Musk and the other Trumpist factions.
