Well of sorts. It blocks the chemical signals that cause muscles to contract, making them less stiff and less sensitive to pain. So it stops them tightening rather than reducing what is already there. Kind of preventative, as I understand it. It changed my life to be honest.

I get botox every 12-14 weeks to help keep the tension in my face down. I have chronic headaches from a nerve problem and that makes my migraines worse. The botox basically changed my life as I couldn't cope with the headaches and ensuing migraines. I've had this treatment for nearly 10 yrs now.
