Assuming you have managed to be found by the council to be homeless, eligible, in priority need & not intentionally homeless (hard, see Part 1 bsky.app/profile/near... ), then the council will provide you with permanent accommodation, yes? 1/
I suppose, thinking about it, I should probably do a quick explainer for new followers as to just how mind-bogglingly awful English homelessness law is (different in Scotland and Wales), because few people outside the sector (unless they've been through it) really have a clue... 1/
Suitable accommodation under section 190 Housing Act 1996 - little caselaw, as TA for intentionally homeless is often only a a couple of weeks, but here a JR decision on unsuitability of B&B accommodation for household of 2 adults & 2 children with health issues nearlylegal.co.uk/2024/08/suit...
