Open to being corrected, but I think it’s a Red Tailed. Shorter tail feathers than Red Shouldered, I do believe!

I’ve heard the risk to wild birds, as a whole, is pretty low. The bigger issue with bird flu is when it spreads among domesticated birds, like chickens, due to our industrial approach to livestock farming. They’re in much closer quarters than wild birds. I’ve continued to put my feeders out.
