Interesting article, suggesting more complex than at first site; social interaction is important similar to study of foreign languages and exercising the brain with complex issues.

I may regret asking this, but...if I wanted to read some really good contemporary horror (by contemporary, I mean the last 5-10 years), where would I start? Some parameters: In translation is fine, shoddy writing is not; not esp. interested in YA; absolutely loved Our Share of Night if that helps.
