Time to turn this into a thread I suppose 🧵 makes it more interesting:

Over the past weekend I received nearly all of the hardware and electronics and spent a few hours getting the neck angle and fit just right and glued it, left it for a day and now it's one piece. Also Alt Text go brrr.

(Went and saw Metallica for the first time in more than decade.)

(Started seeing various desired models of Gibson Explorer shaped guitars at the various guitar shops around town, tried all of them.)

One month later: "Can't find anything worth my time, screw it we doing it again!!"

ah yes leading her troops against the hordes of tiny bandits. XD

Company: "This part isn't meant for our import line."
Me: "You sure about that?"

And no, the routing after the fact was done by whoever owned this Sterling JP-150 DiMarzio before me... absolutely find it silly when companies willingly offer the part but legal says they have to add text like this.

It's been a hot minute since I've done a proper guitar family picture and we have graduated from couch to guest room bed... Maybe I should detail all of em with their particular stories because most of these do have a story to how they came into my ownership plus the mods done to them.

Secured my first brand new car ever for a reasonable deal given thile current economy, a 2023 Rio Hatch, the last ever.

Its a good day for some Pork Adobo... Especially with a Instant Pot, cuts down a 4 or 5 hour simmer job to about an hour and a half from saute to pressure to finish on natural release.
