The EFL cup QF TV draw is likely to be made next week so we might find out then.
I'm not sure they can wait to see if that is viable, but it would probably be the solution Palace take if they are forced into that position I'd imagine.

They may choose to just force Palace to play these games within the span of a few days and essentially require them to field a second string team in one of the matches, so these fixture movements are not guaranteed

I've been using the projection model data to inform picks but not developed an optimisation solver for it nah.
How were you going about approaching it? I suppose with autosub and 0 mins probabilities, you could just use those, implement the penalty points, and then invert the solver objective 🤔
