Up first is a little house I’m making that will serve as a cone incense holder. I accidentally broke through the clay when carving a door and turned that into a happy mistake. Now there’s air flow for the smoke!

Had no idea how this would turn out when I started and I'm pretty proud of this first attempt.

I saw an Instagram video from a pottery teacher who uses pinch pots and slabs to teach her kids how to create jars and it looked like a fun method.
If anyone's interested, her insta account is www.instagram.com/mrs_baxters_...

When I first created this piece, I had wanted the imprint to be more of a bright green. The end result was much more earthy. I have some ideas on how I can display this.

I used some leftover scraps to create a little night sky scene that you could put a tea candle behind
On the left is my bisque-fired piece
On the right, I'm testing only clear-glazing the night sky, and leaving the grass and tree unglazed
Very curious to see how this turns out!

So many thoughts. The plot and music started out a little rocky, but once the teeth came out, it was a wild ride. That ending was amazing.
Go see it before it closes, get the splash zone tickets 🦷🩸

Apricot, Peach Spread
I'm a big fan of both these flavors in multiple formats so I was a little surprised when I wasn't as enthusiastic about the taste.
It's a very middle-of-the-line flavor. Perfect if you're purchasing for an entire household and don't want to go bold

Pineapple, Yuzu Spread
I normally like pineapple, but this one has a distinctly artificial taste. I'm not sure if that's the Yuzu combining with the pineapple. It's not exactly my favorite, but the initial taste is nice.

Raspberry, Rose Spread
Basic. Mid.
If you didn't tell me it had rose, I wouldn't have known.
Fortunately I really like raspberry, so the simplicity was still a hit with my taste buds.
If you see this in the store and it costs extra, it's not worth it.
