Ligotti's The Bungalow House perhaps. He writes more overt cosmic horror, but his weird crime stories have that True Detective season one vibe. He could have sued them for True Detective season 1, as they certainly came very close to lifting some of his writing, but he couldn't be arsed😂

To be honest, I've fallen into that trap myself, though in the pre-social media age (the cassette demo moment😂) and the early era of internet promotion days. Ambition takes over and basically ruins everything. Have fun and let it flow😉

Absolutely. Trying to organise rehearsals as band members grow older was a challenge. Dealing with shifts, family obligations, and if you're drummer is a HART team paramedic, various major incidents he had to attend. It was a bit frustrating😂 We still recorded enough songs for three albums😊
