Yesterday, in Westminster, I spoke online to health workers in Myanmar & heard about the ongoing crisis they & their patients are facing. Since the 2021 coup, there have been over 1,500 attacks and threats against health workers and healthcare infrastructure. The world must act to protect them.

Deeply concerned by Israeli Defence Force assault on Kamal Adwan hospital and the detention of its Director Dr Hussain Abu Safiyeh. The international community must make clear that @IDF will be held responsible for his safety. He should be released immediately.
