I had the opposite experience on the iPlayer. Watched all of Prisoner 951. Next day, wanted to watch the doc about it. Nothing on ‘You might like this’ or ‘More like this’. Had to burrow into the menus to dig it out - which was well worth it but would have been an easy win for the algorithm.

The BMA keeps arguing that the resident doctors’ pay has been eroded since 2008. But surely most of those striking have become doctors since then, knowing full well what the pay levels are: Callum Parr was 10 in 2008.

Is it because the roads are crammed with idiots? I don’t think I’m imagining this: the standard of driving has plummeted over the last few years. It feels as if the rules of the road are now mere suggestions, to follow or not depending on your mood. I’m not even sure we still have driving tests,TBH.

What’s with this ridiculous media obsession with ‘broken pledges’? Circumstances change. The gov needs to react and adapt. It’s the grownup thing to do. Focus on the policies, not the promises. And learning point for Labour: don’t make stupid pledges in the first place!
