Depending on how young they are, ScratchJr is available on iPad. It's pretty rudimentary and unfortunately Scratch isn't iPad compatible (as far as I know)

And yet, not a single one where you can play as an anthropomorphic manhole cover who needs to flip in time to make unsuspecting professionals fall straight into the sewer

I swear they get lower/louder every year

2 years ago my partner had a procedure done and was told to go home, rest, and try to reduce stress as much as possible

1 hour later: cue an endless stream of WHOOSHES so loud they set off every ding dang car alarm and practically caved our chests in

I'm being silly, but this feel like it belongs on some sort of joker/fool spectrum

The states might appear similar to some, but the internal motivation feels quite different.

Too bad Getting Over It guy isn't wearing a clown costume.

maybe some of are hopelessly adrift in a sea of despair while they watch the thing that once pumped passionate blood through their bodies transform into an even worse money machine than it already was

But how else are people supposed to figure out what to name their babies?

This is (in fact) why we get along so well. Everything I write (design related or otherwise) is littered with these ding dang curvy lines

My partner and I did the same (for fertility/baby reasons) and have found the exact same thing -- it's wild how big of a deal it seemed to us before and how little it mattered after

This is extremely extremely cool and exciting! Looking forward to getting my hands on this and seeing it out in the wild

I'm clearly tired, but I found that so frigging funny I nearly spit my coffee all over my keyboard

Well hoo boy, that sure is nice thing to hear! Right back atcha Tony

Congratulations Dom! That's so exciting!!!

That's interesting!

I'm not sure that I feel like a thing needs to be done in order to know what it is (but that's totally project dependant).

The non-dev activity feeling like a distraction from the "real work" rather than an extension of it totally rings true though

What does being in touch with the process mean to you?

I'm not sure why having a complete thing vs an in-progress thing would affect how in touch you are with making a trailer etc.

Clearly it's a meaningful distinction to you though, so it doesn't really matter if I understand or not!

Makes sense! Excited to see what you come up with

For whatever it's worth, I think it's a neat experiment

imo the mileage really depends on how big the style gap between 3d elements and the BG are (bc it could feel hard to make the character feel grounded), but you're good at art so that's probably easy for you!
