The iOS queue times for Free plan users on @expo.dev were around 4 hours at this time last week.

We increased our Mac capacity today. We're seeing <10 min queue times right now. ⚡

Subscribers are seeing 0 min queue times.

📚 We have updated docs. Check out our new examples doc, which has easy to copy/edit workflow configs.

We also have a new syntax guide. It's now easier to figure out everything you can automate.

🤳 Our UI is made for app developers. That means you can publish an update and your team will see a QR code to preview it in seconds. We'll also show you compatible builds for that update. Or you can even open it in Orbit!

🔄 You can now re-run entire workflows or from failed jobs. When you confirm, you'll *instantly* see the new workflow re-running. Great for flakey Maestro tests.

✍️ We also made the list of jobs on the page match your YAML config. Why? You might have 10 jobs, then a build at the end, and you want your team to download the build.

This makes it so that you can put the build first in your YAML and it'll appear above the fold.

We released a product called workflows, a React Native CI/CD, late last year. Heard a *ton* of feedback and there are a lot of new features. Let's dive in:

🗺️ We now display a topologically sorted map of your workflow, so you can see what's in progress, finished, failed, etc.

Trying to make 3D stuff in Figma. Everything's just shapes after all 🤷‍♂️

the best part of OTP codes is when they have 2 seconds left and you're smashing that return key

Yo @jim.bsky.social, thanks for the excellent components + design of SRCL. Just gave my personal site a much needed refresh.

And finally, played through Celeste A sides again. Fun to go back. Now i need to find/complete all the B sides and C sides again.

I also got a Stream Deck and made a bunch of custom icons for it. This thing is awesome. Spending some time to automate things just feels so good.

My dad got some vinyl tint for his headlights, but didn't know how to put it on. Me neither! I think it went pretty well. Now his car has sunglasses 😎

I also have these MSR II mmWave presence sensors to kick off automations, like turning on lights/monitor CO2. I designed/printed this right-angle cord holder.

Next up, I finally learned some CAD to model a tablet holder for a HomeAssistant tablet. If you haven't tried HA, it's amazing. 100% recommend.

Since we stayed home for the holidays, I was able to get a lot of "someday list" stuff done.

First up, built these shelves for my workshop. Now I have a joinery-station. Pocket hole jig, screws, bolts, glue, drills, clamps, etc.

Looking back at Memoji, they (1) look nicer, (2) are easier to generate, and (3) I actually look unhappy here.

Just turned off Apple Intelligence on all my devices and realized I was better off before. Some realizations:

Apple is terrified of results that are unsavory, which means AI generated content is nearly useless. Here I tried to use the Image Playground to create images of me, angry or sad. Baha wat?

Just in time for the holidays: I updated my Scrabble word checker app.

📚 New official dictionaries (all local)
💅 Updated UI and animations
👨‍💻 SDK 52, expo-sqlite, splash screen, workflows, and more!

It's free! It's open source! I hope you don't lose your turn.
