I am a comic reader, collector, and reviewer. But most of all, I’m a comic lover!
Zub really focuses on the political hierarchy of Aquilonia in this issue. The storytelling is clear and the page layouts and compositions are interesting. As Conan makes his escape across the top of the castle, Dagnino employs the De Luca Effect masterfully. I’m really looking forward to next issue.

Although this issue is full of cliches, Lee does a decent job setting everything up. Ryan’s art is solid. There’s a lot of 90s style cross hatching. The page layouts are varied, with good use of open panel borders and negative space. There’s fun cartooning in the faces. This is a fun action comic.

MacKay is really good at balancing action and emotion. We see an example of what it looks like when you let hatred, anger and revenge take over your life. Carbone’s line art feels much more loose, which adds to the chaotic nature of the fights. I highly recommend this entire run.

I really enjoy that Williamson added in the fact that the Dreadnoks love grade soda. Reilly’s art is always great. He ramps up the chaos while keeping everything easy to read. This series mixes action, some comedy, incredible art, and great character development perfectly.

Hulk vs Santa!! David seems to know what the main attraction in this issue is. But he takes a unique route to get there. Jaaska’s art is wild and strange. He does a good job hitting various comedic beats, due to his faces being very expressive and cartoony. Overall, this comic is fun and weird.

Mcfarlane does a good job using common tropes to make us care about the characters. Capullo’s pencils really make this issue worthwhile. The attention to detail is great. When Nadine is talking on the phone, she’s twisting the phone cord in her fingers. I had a lot of fun reading this comic.

Vecchi gives us a heartfelt story in this first issue and her art is fantastic. Done in black and white, she uses a lot of gray tones to bring more texture and depth to the pages. This comic is so much fun. I suggest you visit saravecchiart.square.site to purchase a copy.

Kavanagh seems to be trying his best to keep all the subplots together but he’s not completely successful. Kwapisz and Palmiotti deliver a pretty fun comic visually. The design of Demon Moon Knight is sinister looking. Reed stretches in dynamic ways. I’m on the hunt for more issues of this run.

Kirkman does a fantastic job showing us the differences in the personalities of Darak and Solila. De Felici brings it. The designs for the aliens are bizarre and wild. I noticed a lot of interesting mark making, especially on the ships. This issue was a lot of fun with some surprising twists.

Although released in the 80s, Ditko and Stern bring a golden age feel to this comic. What stands out is an interesting character with fun, unique powers. Ditko’s pencils are incredible. He finds interesting ways within a 9 panel grid to break up the monotony. This is a very well made first issue.

Braun gives us everything we need to know, and sets up some mystery as well. As for Braun’s art, he uses a very clear, open line style that is very cartoony and flat out fun. There’s also a looseness the line art that helps give the pages a bouncy feeling. I highly recommend checking this out.

In this issue, Barnes shows us a side of Solo we’ve never seen before. What makes these moments impactful is Rosanas’s art. The facial expressions he uses for Han are fantastic. You feel the sorrow and remorse. I have been impressed with this series and I’m really looking forward to the final issue.

Condon does a good job of playing with the conventions of the Marvel Universe. I really love what Cappuccio does in this issue as well. I particularly enjoy his depiction of Phoenix fully unleashed. The mark making on her, and the fire around her, is incredible. This was another fantastic issue.

Kirkman writes all these characters with distinct voices, opinions, and feelings. Mora’s art is excellent. When Prime goes to Thundercracker to talk, we see him in the PROCESS of sitting down next to Thundercracker. It’s such a great storytelling choice. This series is simply awesome.

Johnson’s dialogue in this issue is great. The way he writes Namor is perfect. There’s a few pages in this issue that may Klein’s best work. They not only get more unconventional, but he changes the panel borders to look like intestines. I really believe this book is something special.

Peach managed to shock me with what happened in this issue. The best part about it is it didn’t feel forced. The art is stunning and horrific at times. Peach really leans into horror elements on a few pages and it’s incredible. I think this series could be remembered as an all time great run.

Soule makes the choice to show us what Kylo is fighting through while Vanee gives a classic villain monologue. Ross gives us a two page spread that is absolutely fantastic. He uses pieces of the environment as make shift panel borders. It’s incredible storytelling. I really enjoyed this issue.

I particularly love the way North writes the family dynamic. They’re all so comfortable together. Ramos does a fantastic job in this issue. Once again he gives us some instances of Reed using his power in interesting and flat out bizarre ways. I’m having so much fun reading this series.

I’m impressed with Williamson’s ability to intertwine poignant character moments with the action sequences. Reilly’s art once again is incredible. There’s some great cartooning in the faces. Road Pig looks awesome and fierce. This series is so good, and this story arc has been a lot of fun so far.

Snyder really seems to be having fun with this issue. It feels like a kid playing with action figures and I’m here for it. Fernandez is going all in on these pages. The action is wild and thrilling. The page layouts are frenetic and add to the chaotic fight. I’m really enjoying this series so far.

Zub is bringing all three narratives closer. We also see the similarities in the main characters. Gil continues to show his massive talent. I’m starting to notice some of the small, intricate lines he uses the more I look at his work. He makes a lot of interesting marks. I’m loving this series.

The overall story of this issue is very good. Sacks gives us clear motivation for Boba Fett. Ryp’s art has a lot of detail. Every panel is interesting. The action scenes and character design are fun. His use of color is incredible. Head out to a local comic store and scoop this one up.

Johnson is able to give us an epic monster story with some quieter character moments. Klein’s art is absolutely incredible. The level of detail on these pages is astounding. The quieter moments are interesting to look at due to the variety of angles. You should definitely grab this issue.
