CO2 propellant. That's it. Enough for 100 micrograms of medication. So presumably no more than 100micrograms of the propellant.
So an entire inhaler has less than one millionth of the CO2 a car produces in one kilometer.

Seriously for a moment, notice how this "journalism" fails to mention a lot:
- Lead formerly employed by a manufacturer of dry inhalers.
- Lead was paid as an expert witness against other inhaler manufacturers by another dry inhaler maker.
- Dry inhalers are generally over 1500% more expensive.

Oh it hits the emotions alright.
I think that side gets overlooked because of the effects and the sci-fi elements. I think though, that it could be set in the 17th century with a sailor trying to find a new crop to end a famine and it would still hit with the same power.
