LLMs have no knowledge of space. Only text (token) patterns. Text is a terrible medium for continuous shapes.

Person sets test they know the models will fail at and then condemns them for failing. Meanwhile, people who work with AI tools in domains like software continue to see staggering results, now well proven in good quality studies.

The Ukrainians have by and large gone for simple drones suitable for massive production. Not obvious that the more complex ‘any to any’ electrics package will be cheap enough for mass production.

It is certainly more like driving a car, or walking a dog, than riding a bike, but you are for sure still in control. My own experience is that for good developers AI brings a massive uplift. A rising ride raises all boats.

Do you really think it’s right though? I loved Annie’s work on how to bring AI models into an engineering workflow, but from my experience I simply don’t see how it changes the experience in the way this describes.

Trump is a nutter, Vance worse, we can all see that. That does not mean the US is an unreliable ally for the UK. You are a serious journalist, there is no reason to stoke this beyond what it is. Starmer ‘s line is right.
