Oh I’m excited to watch this version!
jonwesleyhuff.bsky.social
My friend and I were chatting about how excited we are for @realgdt.bsky.social’s Frankenstein and I articulated this thought and, you know, I just liked it and wanted to share it here. I imagine others have made the comparison before. But it was new to my brain and they’re both art heroes of mine
GDT is like this generation's Jim Henson. I mean, Henson is still an inspiration, but you know what I mean. GDT and his artistry are commenting on the moment still.
He's a one-person creation engine surrounded by networks of incredibly talented individuals that inspire in ways that feel inherently out of the mainstream and yet is on the more palatable edge of the off-center? If that makes any sense.

I’ve learned a thing or two over the years! 😘😘😘

I'm not sure how I'll look in the blue wig, but I'm game for roleplay.

I realize they are ducking the likenesses, but going full paige-boy / Prince Adam haircut on Bob was a choice.

I met my partner of 21 years. So, there's that. And I met some fantastic friends I still talk to in a couple Facebook groups. But all of that was decades ago. It's been a long time since it's been more than a begrudging thing I have to do in order to feel like i'm in the loop.

Has anything great happened in your life because of social media?

Hot and cute and far naughtier than most will ever suspect. Also, a great laugher and very funny and witty. And, yes, very nice (to people worth your time) but not TOO nice.

Paul's cake is excellent. He's also an excellent baker.

It's like Side paradise down here. Which, I fully respect but... I need to put a thing in a thing or have a thing put in my thing to do my thing.

I cancelled the X-men 97 wave and the SNAKE because I just couldn't swing everything coming all at once. Bleh.

I’m sure nothing bad would happen if you went in.

Here's how I fixed the loose limbs. In the non pop-off limbs, the interior looks like this. The plastic prongs on the inside are closer together on the connections for LOOSE limbs. I let them soak a bit in boiling water and then GENTLY wedged the softened plastic open with a screwdriver. Fixed!
The prongs are tightly together, this is the leg that kept falling off. The prongs are wider. This leg was perfectly fine! Soaking it in the near-boiling water. Wedging the screwdriver in and flexing the prongs GENTLY apart.

Well, might as well make the Ninjombies post a trilogy! I got Sword Lord in, and he's very fun! I do feel like he's maybe the most "basic" design of the line. But he's quite pleasing. Oh, and one of the legs had trouble staying in place (like Haz-Mat) and I figured out how to fix them...
Sword Lord posed in front of the Prime Slime Dragon. A green and black outfit with blue face and green eyes. He has translucent blue limbs in some areas, and his left hand is gone, replaced by a sword. All the toys in the line so far, battling it out. Sword Lord in command of the Prime Slime Dragon Another look at Sword Lord posed.

There came a time when the old gods died! The brave died with cunning! The noble perished, locked in battle with unleashed evil! It was the last day for them! An ancient era was passing in fiery holocaust!

WHY DID THEY GENTRIFY THE AUDACITY LOGO
the regular audacity logo on the left (a waveform between two headphones) and the REAL NEW audacity logo on the right (flat style red headphones, where one of the headphones is a half-circle to fit with the rest of musehub's design Thing. It simultaneously looks extremely generic and like a sperm cell is flying out of a semicircle)

Pritzker: "It's unconscionable. This has never happened before. They're calling out troops onto the streets of a state that doesn't want them and they're not even telling us where they're gonna go, what they're gonna do. This hasn't happened I don't think since the Civil War."
