I would like to think of myself as a philosopher, but I'm not sure I am.
'After centuries..' lol I checked and in 1826 American didn't even have any forward air bases in Europe.

If you could get maybe 20 or 30 million people to club together with this would that be enough to set up a not for profit people serving cooperative health insurance fund?

Good lord ofc not! She might want something inconveniently like a sovereign democracy.

Trump is incapable of dealing with abstractions - he believes the medal *is* the prize. If Simone Biles gave him one of hers he would genuinely believe himself to be being recognised as a great olympian female gymnast.

Only 71% think invading another country with the intention to annex it, not to mention breaking alliances and starting a conflict with Europe is bad? Only 71%! Honestly wtf is wrong with you people America?

If people in m9vies spoke as we do 8n reality we'd never make it through the first 5 minutes of dialog
January 12, 2026 at 7:51 AM
You are talking as though you stil believe that what you *can do* i.e. w/o consequences is defined by the old US Constirution rather than the new reality that you seem to be facing. I expect that is hard to assimilate in more ways than one and I am grieved for your nation.

This is the second time at least I have seen this weird American exceptionalism used as an excuse. It is of course absolute bollocks. Compared to other peoples who have had to deal with similar situations historically and presently you are richer and more economically secure by far.
January 8, 2026 at 10:55 PM
Well maybe. Its true in many previous situations people were much more certain because they had sweet fa already. But I'm pushed to think of any mass industrial action where the participants were not living hand to mouth at best.
January 6, 2026 at 4:54 PM
It's a hard choice. Most 'general strikes' or large scale actions are undertaken by people who cannot afford it. I suppose that at some point maybe you have to make the choice- risk your security, economic or even physical, such as it is, or accept authoritarian rule.
January 6, 2026 at 3:19 PM
I'm certainly not suggesting anything is easy. Nor am I telling you what to do. The question was what *can* we do and I suggested the answer. What you *should* do individually is your choice and I cannot blame anyone who keeps their head down - Opposing auth. regimes always has a cost and risk
January 6, 2026 at 2:27 PM
I sympathise with those well meaning, rational Americans who are horrified by the actions of their own government. Nevertheless it is your country and your job to fix it and work out how. Making the nation ungovernable via general strikes and mass civil disobedience would seem the way to go..

If the stupidest man in the room wants to take a stupidity test I think someone should oblige him.

If they're only having 1.5 children per couple they're going to die out - and before that need people to run various services when they get old. So makes sense to move some other people in - and Europeans don't want to cos wtf would they?

Personally I'd love a drone-free roof. I've had a lot of trouble with them docking under my eaves and teaching the little dronelets how to tap into my mains power feed.

I just can't fecking tell with this guy anymore - is this real? 🤪
December 29, 2025 at 3:06 AM
This would have met English accuracy standards better with a full stop.
December 23, 2025 at 1:21 PM
Yes but Bidens wasn't historic. Here you are in the golden reign of Trump - the greatest current president - who makes every day history and you just want to pettyfog about irrelevant things like which is the smaller number
December 22, 2025 at 4:28 PM
Wait- what? Trump is actually president? Shit I thought this last year was just some improvised live stream comedic parody. Well he's right - I'm not laughing now.
December 19, 2025 at 1:05 PM
But at least you can console yourself that at least you never paid for a *poor* person's healthcare like they do in those socialist countries. You know where I pay half as much for unlimited permanent healthcare for me and my family and yes also contribute to the healthcare of those less fortunate.

Saddam was a bad man - no doubt. The fact remains though that the Kuwaities were drilling down and across and stealing the Iraqi oil.
December 17, 2025 at 7:35 PM
Melania is a professional - I'm sure there's a no kissing clause in the contract.
December 16, 2025 at 5:37 PM
Yeah yeah but his didn't come with an enormous chunk of brassy bling and the laughter of 7 billion people
December 7, 2025 at 12:55 PM
That FIFA peace trophy was hilarious. Honestly the biggest laugh out loud moment I have had all year.
